Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Acceptance
By using the Wharfline website ("the Site") or the Wharfline service, both operated by Wharfline Technologies LLC, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
Service
Wharfline provides a managed AI receptionist that answers calls, captures and qualifies leads, books appointments, answers FAQs, and sends call summaries, per the client's selected plan.
Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for the accuracy of the information and call-handling instructions it provides, for lawfully forwarding its calls to the service, and for informing its own customers where required by law. The client represents that it has authority to enable call handling for its business.
Call recording & compliance
The client acknowledges that calls may be recorded and transcribed to provide the service, and is responsible for compliance with call-recording and consent laws applicable to the client and its callers. The AI receptionist speaks a recording notice at the very start of every call, before any other handling, so callers are informed that the call is recorded. The only calls with no recording are those a caller ends before the assistant answers.
Service terms
Pricing, scope, and the terms of any AI receptionist service are set out separately in a written agreement or proposal between Wharfline and your business. Information on the Site is for general guidance and may change.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the Site or service for any unlawful purpose.

No warranties
The Site and service are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about specific business outcomes or results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wharfline Technologies LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
